
Air Force Surgeon General
The Air Force Surgeon General is the highest medical leader within the U.S. Air Force, responsible for overseeing the health and medical readiness of Air Force personnel. They develop policies, oversee medical research and treatment programs, and ensure that service members receive quality healthcare. The Surgeon General also advises military and civilian leaders on medical matters, manages medical facilities, and promotes health and wellness initiatives to maintain a fit and ready force. Essentially, they lead the Air Force’s medical efforts to support the health and operational effectiveness of its members.
