Air Force Reserves

The Air Force Reserves are a part of the U.S. Air Force that consists of trained personnel who serve on a part-time basis, typically one weekend a month and two weeks annually. Reserves support active-duty forces with specialized skills, maintain readiness for emergencies, and can be called upon to assist in national defense, humanitarian missions, or crises. They are an essential component of the Air Force, providing flexible, trained personnel who can rapidly supplement active forces when needed, while also pursuing civilian careers or education during their off-duty periods.
