Air capture technologies

Air capture technologies are methods used to remove carbon dioxide (CO₂) from the atmosphere to help address climate change. These systems typically use chemical processes, where air is passed through filters or solutions that bind with CO₂. Once captured, the CO₂ can be stored underground or reused. These technologies are scalable and can complement emission reductions by actively reducing the existing CO₂ in the atmosphere. While still developing, air capture offers a promising tool for achieving net-zero emissions and mitigating global warming.
