Air Capture Plant
An Air Capture Plant is a facility that removes carbon dioxide (CO₂) directly from the atmosphere. It uses large fans and chemical filters to trap CO₂ molecules from the surrounding air. Once captured, the CO₂ can be stored underground or used for other purposes like producing synthetic fuels. This process helps reduce greenhouse gases and combat climate change. While energy-intensive, air capture offers a way to actively reduce existing atmospheric CO₂ levels, complementing efforts to minimize emissions from sources like vehicles and factories.
