Air Capture
Air capture is a technology that removes carbon dioxide (CO₂) directly from the atmosphere. Using specialized machines or filters, it extracts CO₂ molecules from the air we breathe. Once captured, the CO₂ can be stored underground or repurposed for other uses, helping to reduce the greenhouse gases responsible for climate change. This process complements other efforts to cut emissions and offers a potential way to manage excess CO₂ levels in the atmosphere over time. While still developing, air capture aims to provide a scalable solution to combat rising global temperatures.
