AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test)
AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) was a national entrance exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to undergraduate medical and dental programs across India. It tested students’ knowledge in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and their ability to apply concepts. The exam served as a common selection process for many medical colleges. However, from 2016 onwards, AIPMT was replaced by the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), which now serves as the single entrance exam for medical admissions across India.
