AICPA SOC 2
AICPA SOC 2 is a set of standards for evaluating an organization’s controls related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of customer data. It’s often used by service providers to demonstrate they have effective processes in place to protect sensitive information. An independent auditor assesses the organization’s controls and issues a report, providing assurance to clients and stakeholders that the company meets these high standards for data security and operational integrity. Essentially, SOC 2 helps build trust by verifying that a company responsibly manages and protects data.
