Agung Mountain
Agung Mountain is a prominent volcano located on the Indonesian island of Bali. Standing approximately 3,142 meters (10,312 feet) tall, it is the highest point on the island and has a large crater at its summit. Agung is considered an active volcano, meaning it can erupt with little warning, posing risks to nearby communities. Its lush slopes are covered in forests, and the mountain holds cultural and spiritual significance for Balinese people, often associated with sacred traditions. While its eruptions can be destructive, Agung also plays a vital role in shaping Bali's landscape and ecosystem.
