Agricultural Pollinators

Agricultural pollinators are animals that help plants reproduce by transferring pollen, which fertilizes flowers to produce fruits and seeds. Common pollinators include bees, butterflies, beetles, birds, and bats. They visit flowers for nectar or pollen, and as they do, pollen sticks to their bodies and is carried to other flowers, enabling plant reproduction. Without pollinators, many crops and wild plants would struggle to reproduce, leading to decreased food production and biodiversity. Protecting and supporting pollinators is essential for healthy ecosystems and sustainable agriculture.
