Agape Lodge

Agape Lodge was the American branch of Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO), a secretive organization involved in mystical and esoteric practices in the early 20th century. Founded in the 1930s by Aleister Crowley, it aimed to explore spiritual philosophies and rituals based on Crowley's teachings. The Lodge served as a community for members interested in spiritual development, occult study, and ceremonial magic, often emphasizing personal enlightenment. Though its activities remained private, Agape Lodge is notable for its role in popularizing occult ideas in the United States and fostering a network of followers dedicated to exploring esoteric knowledge.
