AFT Local Unions

AFT Local Unions are independent chapters of the American Federation of Teachers, representing educators and education professionals within specific schools or districts. They advocate for members’ rights, improve working conditions, and promote quality education. These local unions negotiate contracts, provide support, and serve as a collective voice to influence policies affecting educators and students. While part of the national AFT organization, each local union operates independently, focusing on the needs of its members and community.
