African Women's Studies Association

The African Women’s Studies Association (AWSA) is an academic organization dedicated to researching, teaching, and promoting understanding of the experiences, histories, and contributions of women across Africa. It provides a platform for scholars, students, and activists to share knowledge, support gender equality, and highlight issues affecting African women. AWSA aims to advance gender justice, foster collaboration, and increase awareness of the diverse roles women play in African societies.
