Affective response
An affective response is an emotional reaction to a particular experience, situation, or stimulus. It reflects how we feel—such as happiness, sadness, anger, or fear—in response to something around us. These responses are automatic and can influence our thoughts and behaviors. For example, feeling joy when seeing a loved one or fear when encountering danger are affective responses. They are part of our emotional system that helps us interpret and react to our environment, guiding our decisions and interactions in everyday life.
