AES key sizes

AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) uses keys to lock and unlock data securely. The key sizes—128, 192, and 256 bits—determine how complex and strong the encryption is. Think of a key size as the number of tiny switches: more switches (bits) mean a more intricate key, making it harder for someone to guess or crack the encryption. AES-128 is very secure for most purposes, while AES-256 offers an even higher level of security, often used for sensitive information. Larger keys require more processing power but provide increased protection against attacks.
