Aeneolithic period

The Aeneolithic period, also known as the Chalcolithic or Copper Age, was a transitional phase between the Neolithic (Stone Age) and the Bronze Age. Occurring roughly between 4500 and 3000 BCE, it saw the first significant use of copper tools and weapons alongside stone ones. During this time, communities began developing more complex social structures, engaging in early trade, and building more organized settlements. While agriculture was well-established, technological advancements in metallurgy marked a crucial step towards the development of metalworking civilizations. The Aeneolithic period reflects a key evolutionary stage in human cultural and technological progress.
