Aedes

Aedes is a genus of mosquitoes known for transmitting several diseases like dengue fever, Zika virus, chikungunya, and yellow fever. These mosquitoes are typically active during the daytime and are often found in urban and suburban areas. They lay eggs in small pools of water, such as containers, tires, or plant pots.
