Advent Candles
Advent candles are part of a tradition during the weeks leading up to Christmas, symbolizing hope, peace, joy, and love. Typically, a series of four candles is placed in a circular wreath called an Advent wreath—one candle for each week. Each week, a new candle is lit, often with a special prayer or reflection. Some traditions include a pink candle for joy and a white candle in the center for Christ. The candles help mark the passage of time and prepare individuals spiritually for celebrating the birth of Jesus.
