Advanced Placement Program
The Advanced Placement (AP) Program is a program developed by the College Board that offers high school students college-level courses across various subjects. These courses are more challenging and in-depth than standard high school classes. At the end of the course, students can take an AP exam; high scores may earn them college credit or advanced placement, allowing for a head start in college coursework. The program aims to prepare motivated students for higher education and showcase their academic abilities to colleges and universities.
