Adobe Walls
William "Buffalo Bill" Cody's Scouting Expedition at Adobe Walls, also known as the Battle of Adobe Walls (June 27, 1864), was a significant clash in the Indian Wars. Located in present-day Texas, the battle involved a group of buffalo hunters and traders defending their settlement from a large attack by Comanche and Kiowa warriors. Despite being outnumbered, the defenders repelled the assault through strategic firepower. The event became a symbol of frontier resilience and contributed to the ongoing conflicts between Native American tribes and settlers during westward expansion.
