ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) Advocate
ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by persistent patterns of inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity that interfere with daily functioning. People with ADHD may struggle to focus, complete tasks, or stay organized, and may be impulsive or restless. It's not about lack of intelligence but differences in brain wiring that affect self-regulation and attention. ADHD is typically diagnosed in childhood but can persist into adulthood. With proper management, including medication, therapy, and organizational strategies, individuals with ADHD can lead successful and fulfilling lives.
