Acts and Resolutions
Acts and Resolutions are formal formal statements made by legislative bodies like Congress. An Act is a law that has been passed and signed into effect, creating or modifying legal rules that everyone must follow. Resolutions are formal expressions of opinion or decisions on issues; they may be used to make policies or express collective views but do not have the force of law. Both are ways legislative bodies communicate decisions, with Acts establishing enforceable laws and Resolutions often addressing internal matters or expressing sentiments.
