Action Francaise
Action Française was a French political movement in the early 20th century that promoted monarchism and traditionalist values. It opposed liberal democracy, socialism, and the secularization of society, advocating instead for a return to the monarchy and a strong, hierarchical order based on Catholic principles. Influenced by nationalist and conservative ideas, it gained significant influence among right-wing circles, especially during the interwar period. While it was associated with royalist ambitions and sometimes involved in political violence, its core aim was to restore the monarchy and uphold traditional social structures within France.
