ACT scores

ACT scores are numerical results from a standardized test used mainly for college admissions in the United States. The test scores range from 1 to 36, with higher scores indicating stronger performance. The ACT assesses skills in English, math, reading, and science, and these scores help colleges evaluate a student’s readiness for college-level work. Often, a composite score is calculated, averaging the four sections. While an important factor in admissions, scores are considered alongside GPA, extracurricular activities, and essays to provide a comprehensive view of a student’s academic potential.
