ACR

ACR, or Albumin-to-Creatinine Ratio, is a medical test that measures the amount of albumin (a protein) in your urine relative to the amount of creatinine (a waste product). This ratio helps evaluate kidney health, as higher levels of albumin in urine can indicate kidney damage or disease. It provides a more accurate assessment than just measuring albumin alone, accounting for urine concentration differences. A normal ACR usually indicates healthy kidneys, while elevated levels suggest the need for further medical evaluation.
