ACLS

ACLS, or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, is a set of medical protocols used by healthcare professionals to treat severe, life-threatening emergencies related to the heart and circulation. It involves rapid assessment, advanced airway management, medication administration, and electrical therapy like defibrillation to restore normal heart rhythm. The goal of ACLS is to stabilize the patient, improve chances of survival, and prevent brain damage after events like cardiac arrest. It builds upon basic life support techniques with additional skills and treatments for more complex cardiac emergencies.
