ACF River Basin Compact
The ACF River Basin Compact is an agreement among Alabama, Florida, and Georgia to collaboratively manage and share the waters of the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint (ACF) River Basin. It aims to balance the needs for water supply, environmental health, and economic development across the states. The Compact provides a framework for cooperation, planning, and resolving disputes over water use, ensuring that water resources are allocated fairly and sustainably for communities, industries, agriculture, and ecosystems within the basin.
