Acclimatise
Acclimatise means to gradually adapt or become accustomed to new environmental conditions, such as temperature, altitude, or humidity. When someone or an organism acclimatizes, their body makes changes to function better in the altered environment, improving comfort and performance. For example, a person moving to a high-altitude area may take time to adjust to lower oxygen levels. The process allows the body to optimize its functioning under different conditions, reducing stress or discomfort associated with sudden changes. Acclimatisation is a natural, adaptive response helping organisms and people thrive when facing new or challenging environments.
