Accidental inventions

Accidental inventions are discoveries made unexpectedly while working on something else, often through chance, mistake, or unforeseen results. They highlight how innovations can occur unpredictably outside of intentional research. Examples include the discovery of Post-it Notes or penicillin, where the inventor didn’t set out to create those products but happened upon them through serendipitous events. Such inventions show that constant experimentation and open-mindedness can lead to valuable breakthroughs unexpectedly.
