
Academy for Educational Development
The Academy for Educational Development (AED) was a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving education, health, and economic development worldwide. It collaborated with governments, organizations, and communities to design and implement effective programs that enhanced learning, health outcomes, and economic opportunities. AED focused on capacity building, research, training, and policy development to promote sustainable development. In 2011, AED merged with other organizations to form FHI 360, continuing its mission under the new name. Overall, AED worked to create better educational and health systems to improve lives globally through innovative solutions and partnership efforts.
