The Academy was an ancient institution founded by the Greek philosopher Plato around 387 BCE in Athens. It served as a center for philosophical discussion, education, and the pursuit of knowledge. The Academy emphasized dialogue, critical thinking, and the exploration of ideas about ethics, politics, and existence.
