ABVD regimen

The ABVD regimen is a common chemotherapy treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma, consisting of four drugs: Adriamycin (A), Bleomycin (B), Vinblastine (V), and Dacarbazine (D). These medications work together to target and destroy cancer cells in the lymphatic system. The treatment is usually given in cycles over several months and aims to cure the disease while trying to minimize side effects. While effective, doctors carefully monitor patients for potential adverse effects, such as lung or blood cell issues, to ensure safety during therapy.
