Abu Muhammad al-Adnani was a prominent leader and spokesperson of the extremist group ISIS until 2016. Born in Syria in 1977, he was instrumental in promoting and coordinating the group's operations, propaganda, and recruitment efforts. Known for his rhetorical skills, he issued messages calling for attacks worldwide and was considered a key figure in ISIS's leadership. He was killed by a drone strike in 2016. His role significantly influenced the group's tactics and global outreach during its height.
