
Abu Jihad
Abu Jihad, whose real name was Khalil al-Wazir, was a prominent Palestinian leader and a founding member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO). He was known for his strategic planning and leadership in coordinating Palestinian resistance against Israel during the 1960s and 1970s. Often called the "architect of the Palestinian resistance," Abu Jihad played a vital role in organizing military and political efforts to establish Palestinian rights and sovereignty. He was considered a key figure in the Palestinian struggle and was assassinated by Israeli agents in 1988.
