Abiodun Oyewole

Abiodun Oyewole is one of the founding members of the Black Liberation Army and a former member of the Black Panther Party, organizations dedicated to advocating for Black civil rights and social justice during the 1960s and 1970s. He was involved in activism aimed at challenging racial inequality and systemic oppression in the United States. Oyewole was convicted of involvement in a 1971 armed bank robbery that resulted in violence and a death. After serving time in prison, he has since become a vocal advocate for justice, reconciliation, and community empowerment.
