Abenomics
Abenomics refers to Japan's economic policies launched by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in 2012 to boost growth and end years of stagnation. It combines three main strategies: aggressive monetary easing to increase inflation and encourage spending; fiscal stimulus through government spending to jump-start the economy; and structural reforms aimed at improving productivity and labor markets. The goal is to stimulate demand, encourage investment, and ultimately raise living standards, while managing debt. While the approach has had mixed results, it represents a comprehensive effort to revitalize Japan’s economy through coordinated policy measures.
