Abdul Haq was an Afghan resistance leader and scholar who fought against Soviet occupation in the 1980s and later opposed the Taliban. Known for his intelligence and dedication to education, he aimed to promote moderate Islamic ideas and democratic governance in Afghanistan. He founded groups to unite various factions and resisted extremism. Tragically, he was executed by the Taliban in 2001, but his legacy remains as a symbol of resistance, courage, and efforts toward national unity and reform in Afghanistan.
