Abdali

Abdali, also known as Ahmad Shah Abdali, was an 18th-century Afghan leader and founder of the Durrani Empire, considered the ancestor of modern Afghanistan. He united various Afghan tribes and established a powerful state that stretched across present-day Afghanistan, Pakistan, and parts of Iran and India. Abdali is recognized for resisting Persian and Indian invasions, consolidating Afghan independence, and laying the foundations for Afghanistan as a unified nation.
