ABA League

The ABA League, officially called the Adriatic Basketball Association, is a regional professional basketball competition featuring teams from countries in the Balkans, such as Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia. Established in 2001, it aims to develop top-tier basketball talent and foster regional sports cooperation. The league operates annually, with teams competing for the championship and spots in larger European tournaments. It is considered a stepping stone for players and clubs aiming to compete at higher levels, and it promotes regional unity through sport.
