Aage Bohr

Aage Bohr was a Danish physicist and the son of Nobel laureate Niels Bohr. He made significant contributions to nuclear physics, particularly in understanding the structure and behavior of atomic nuclei. Aage advanced theoretical models that explained how protons and neutrons arrange themselves within an atom's nucleus, including the discovery of nuclear rotational states. His work helped deepen our understanding of nuclear energy and stability. In 1975, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics, sharing it with others for their work on the structure of atomic nuclei.
