A-P View

An A-P (anteroposterior) view is a type of X-ray image taken from front to back. The X-ray passes through the body, capturing a picture of internal structures like the chest, spine, or pelvis. This view helps doctors assess the position, size, and shape of organs and bones from the front perspective. It’s commonly used for diagnosing conditions such as lung infections, bone fractures, or spinal issues. The term “A-P” simply describes the direction of the X-ray beam: entering from the front (anterior) and exiting from the back (posterior).
