A-B-A Design

An A-B-A design is a research method used to study how a change or intervention affects behavior. It involves three phases: first, observe the behavior without change (A); next, introduce the intervention or treatment (B); finally, remove the intervention to see if behavior returns to initial levels (A). This design helps determine if the change is caused by the intervention itself. It is a systematic way to evaluate effectiveness while maintaining scientific rigor, especially useful in behavioral studies to ensure that observed changes are truly due to the treatment applied.
