5 Rhythms

The 5 Rhythms are a movement practice that explores different states of energy and emotion through dance. Each rhythm—Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Still—represents a unique way of expressing ourselves: smooth movement, sharpness, releasing tension, free-flowing creativity, and stillness or meditation. Together, they help foster self-awareness, emotional balance, and physical freedom by guiding participants through a full spectrum of movement states, encouraging authentic expression and grounding. This practice promotes healing, mindfulness, and personal insight by allowing us to explore our inner landscape through embodied experience.
