34th Bengal Native Infantry

The 34th Bengal Native Infantry was a military unit composed of Indian soldiers serving under British control during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Part of the British Indian Army, it was one of many distinct regiments recruited from various regions of India to help maintain British colonial rule. These infantry units trained for combat and operated alongside British troops. Over time, the regiment's identity changed as the Indian Army reorganized, but it played a key role in British military campaigns in India and abroad until India gained independence in 1947.
