2nd Polish Republic
The Second Polish Republic was Poland’s government from 1918, after regaining independence following World War I, until 1939, when it was invaded by Nazi Germany. It was characterized by efforts to build a modern state, establish borders, and develop its economy and culture. The period faced challenges like political instability, minority issues, and economic difficulties. Despite these, Poland experienced significant political, social, and infrastructural growth. The republic's existence ended with the outbreak of World War II, leading to occupation and later re-establishment as a different political entity after the war.
