1920s television technology

In the 1920s, television technology was experimental and in early development. It involved converting moving images into electrical signals using cathode ray tubes and scanning mechanisms. The system transmitted low-resolution images via radio waves or wired connections, with limited clarity and size. Mechanical devices like Nipkow disks rotating to scan images were initially used before electronic image scanning methods emerged. While not yet commercially practical or widely available, these pioneering efforts laid the groundwork for future advances in television broadcasting and display technology.
