1910 Futurism Manifesto
The 1910 Futurism Manifesto, written by Italian poet Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, championed a radical embrace of modern technology, speed, and innovation. It rejected traditional art, culture, and past values, instead celebrating movement, progress, and modern life’s dynamism. The manifesto called for demolishing old customs and structures to create a new, energetic future reflecting the machine age. It aimed to inspire art, literature, and society to be more aggressive, forward-looking, and in tune with the rapid technological changes shaping the early 20th century.
