15th Army Group
The 15th Army Group was a large military formation used by Allied forces in World War II, primarily responsible for overseeing Western Europe invasion efforts. It was led by General Sir Harold Alexander and included the U.S. First and Seventh Armies. The group coordinated land campaigns across France and Germany, managing thousands of soldiers, tanks, aircraft, and resources to push back Axis powers. Essentially, it served as a major command unit that planned and directed large-scale ground operations to advance Allied objectives in Europe.
